For Zac Posen's second season back in New York, the girls turned out, and so did he: a new Asian-inspired collection of statement evening dresses with a few pantsuits thrown in. Leave it to Posen, a theatre-phile to bring us an emerald opera coat, because, well, the real New York girls go out for culture, not just nightlife.
You could imagine Coco Rocha dressed in a peony print peering down from an old school opera box, enjoying the view below. How perfect that the New York City Ballet performs in the very setting chosen for his show with its architectural shapes, bustiers and strapless dresses. Many of Posen's girls walked: Anna Cleveland (the legendary Pat's daughter), dancer Laura Love, and, of course, Rocha a longtime supporter. If it seems the focus here is more on the atmosphere and ladies than the looks, it's only because the clothes were all so good--there's not much else to say.
