I am originally from the suburbs of Los Angeles and now live in Silverlake. I work in the garment industry here as a Fashion Illustrator and Assistant. I live with the ambition to have my own business either making jewelry or clothes. Aside from fashion, I enjoy writing and the simple pleasures of life.
The reason I love art, fashion especially, is the ability you have to communicate from the hidden places in your mind. When I create, I feel a direct communication between me and the raw material that gives me the feeling of closeness with nature.
I rarely give myself the chance to exhibit what I create because I am never satisfied. I allow my fear of criticism, rejection, and vulnerability overpower my chances of anybody actually giving a shit about what I do. So this is me getting over myself and sharing what I love because I've realized it's absolutely nothing if nobody can see it.
