Originally from Kentucky (Kentucky Bourbon, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Kentucky Derby), Greg Reynolds spent his 20s as a Christian Evangelist, before coming out as a gay man at the age of 30, moving to NYC, and entering Columbia University, where he obtained an MFA degree.
Greg has persevered in a long term project to photograph his aging parents and his niece and nephews as they have left childhood and entered into adolesence. The project began in 1996 and continues to this day.
Greg also photographs beauty and men. In the summer of 2006, he photographed a young man, Bobby, in Kentucky.
Currently, Greg is assembling images that he took as an evangelist during his 20s. The images were taken during the late 70s and early 80s.
