Provocachic(sm)
what would your story taste like?

The premier Flavour Impressionist, Provocachic(sm) specializes in evocative bespoke cocktails in its signature chic & provocative style. Inspired by the art form that challenged perceptions - Impressionism, a style that captures the essence of transient moments in unconventional compositions.

Our recipe design conjures a sensory glimpse through flavours and a personal story, reflecting personality, memories & emotions, social & cultural elements, et cetera. Enigmatic stories are weaved onto this culinary canvas, connecting emotionally on an intimate level through each intuitive concept & recipe.

Ever inquisitive, both classics and innovations are constantly studied and explored, including unrelated fields. Broadening the imagination, this approach also allows for more surprising depth and twists in the designs. The process includes interviews and research spanning at least five weeks.

To whom might this unique medium for emotional resonance appeal? Loved ones, brands and hospitality establishments – explore these bespoke epicurean cocktails as an intriguing hospitality experience, as an emotional branding touch point, or as a meaningful gift.

FLAVOUR BRANDING
Imagine communicating your brand personality in a chic cocktail, and through a story that specifically appeals to your target market. More than just signature cocktails that reflect the heart of your establishment, think brands of products, services and companies. The latter would benefit from this avant-garde style of building relationships between brand experiences and people.

Provocachic(sm) seeks to recognize and develop this powerful emotional channel (evident in the simplest home-cooked food being an intimate space of moments with family and friends), and to be the leader in this evocative style of recipe design.

Provocachic(sm) also strives to close the significant quality gap between cocktails and food. The freshest high quality ingredients are being explored, down to specific cultivars.

AFFILIATIONS
Provocachic(sm) is the resident flavour impressionist at The Gilded Fork, a popular New York based culinary media network. For the first time, both food AND cocktail recipes are created based on monthly ingredient themes that reflect their cultural histories & myths.

Provocachic(sm) is part of the collective known as Rojak, a group of creative businesses in Singapore. <http://www.rojak-city.com/site/>

SCENT
SCENT

Most intriguing! I've been researching about taste & smell, and recently read an interesting book "The Secret of Scent". In fact, just started to look at how to recreate petrichor. This SCENT project feels like an epiphany. Imagine taste & smell being transmitted over the internet!?! If only that's possible within my lifetime.

NAOMI
NAOMI

Exploration of 3-D technology and emotional resonance of real-time reactions, with a giant replica of Naomi as the canvas?! Wow! Perhaps could explore some ways for the onsite viewers to be able to move around the sculpture/canvas as easily as one would be manipulating the 3-D model in a computer. Ideally a 360 degrees perspective on mulitple axis.

TRANSFORMER

The Bridegroom Stripped Bare - Here, again, we see the dark soul of Lee Alexander McQueen, our generation's 'guy bourdin'. Definitely different of course.
