"It is essential to my existence that I do something related to my photography daily. If the business of photography interferes, it's as though I've neglected something. Yet, I don't like to speak too much about the work. Too many viewpoints as too many words spoil the mystery in the pictures. I just like the connections and juxtapositions that reflect our culture. Hopefully, the direct appeal of my work does not try too hard. As the voice of the images stand still and ask only, that we stop and look."
