After styling and hair and makeup have played their role to build a character, to flesh out their view of a story then the photographer steps in to do his or her bit. We all build to that point together.
Pictures should expose not only the model, but the photographer, as well. By opening up to a team, I hope they in return will open up as well. By engaging I hope to be engaged. By relaxing I hope to ease. By pushing I hope to be pulled. Together we all make a picture. And for me this is as complicated as a photograph needs to be. I try to let emotions and stories and stares make a picture something curious to look at.

Current credits include Nylon, Noi.se, Blackbook, WWD, Communication Arts annual, as well as lookbooks for designers Gary Graham and Byron Lars.
