Maiden-art is a new label of conceptual streetwear, launched in June
2006,with the aim to become a leader of avant gard clothing & accessories
designs.
Maiden-art is inspired by the Universe of Art, Photography, Cinema, Video
art and Music. The logo "Maiden-art" comes from the idea of a Pure, Genuine Art and Art to Wear.
Maiden-art is a philosophy of dressing, " to dress the design " new
solutions for day-to-day life, researched and innovative.
Our T-shirts & Accessories Collections are researched in the fabrics used,
in the design and finishing, in the graphics inspired by a "mental and
oniric traveller" who during his journey, produces visual and surrealistic
images,but what remains is only a mental elaboration...

Maiden-art is designed by Maristella Colombo, Italian fashion designer and artist.
Maristella Colombo was born in 1979 in Borgomanero (NO) Italy.
She graduated in Art-Direction in Communication and
Visual Design at "The International College of Arts and Science"
in Milan (Italy) in 2003.
She studied Fashion Design at "Marangoni fashion school"
and at "London College of fashion" London (UK).
She worked for different Fashion Houses like Boudicca(London-UK), Susan Cianciolo (New York-USA)and Brums(Italy).
Today she teaches "Contemporary Fashion Hystory" at IED-European Institute of Design in Milan and she works as a fashion designer consultant for different fashion labels.
She launched her brand Maiden-art in June 2006 supported by European Union, Progetto NUOVOLAVORO CNA and by Camera Commercio Milano Rotary Club Progetto Virgilio.
Maristella Colombo presented her haute couture collection Les ombres des fleurs "Collection A/W 2006/2007,at Palais de Festival de Cannes, Cannes (France) for SEAT Trophee des Createurs de Mode,"SEAT FASHION DESIGNER'S AWARD", Cannes (France)in July 2006.
She works also as a photographer and a video artist, showing her work in International and Italian Exhibition like: Museum Fashion Day-Casoria Contemporary Art Museum curated by A.Manfredi, BJCEM- Biennial of European and Mediterranean Young Artists curated by A.Bonito Oliva, AWW International Youth Salon - International Young Artists Salon at Alexandrie of Egypt and ARTECH MEDIA 06 (Arte Futuro)- Video art Digital art and Performance Festival in Spain.
