HISTORY
Jattinn kochhar a 1972 born Aquarian is a New Delhi, India based fashion designer .He launched his label at the age of nineteen in the year 1991, without any formal training in fashion. Jattinn firmly believes that he is truly blessed by the Almighty.

HIS DESIGNS
Born with an extra dosage of creativity from god is certainly his biggest asset. His ability to amalgamate his soulful Indian heritage with true urban influences has been the foundation of his design ideology. Simplicity with absolutely clean and fuss free lines have been the hallmark of his creations. He enjoys designing simple, practical lines both for men and women. Keeping in mind the urban lifestyle of his clients, he lays major emphasis on simple design, which can be worn both casually as well as formally by just changing the accessories. Jattinn started his career in designing by launching his label with a club wear line in the year 1991. He does 2 different lines:
� Prêt line- this line offers versatile, understated, practical and perfectly tailored range of clothing for fashion conscious men & women.
� Evening wear- this line offers exclusive evening wear for men and women ranging from traditional, fusion wear to western formal wear. This line of clothing consists of embellishment in the form of embroidery and swarovski crystals; also traditional forms of embellishment like Chikan work from Lucknow, Mukaish work from Rampur, Patti work from Aligarh, Phulkari work from Punjab etc.

HIS SHOWS
He is the first designer to be selected by the Australia fashions framework to show his collection along with the Australian team on the Out of the Australia world tour 1993.

He has participated as a guest designer for traveling fashion presentation around the world where he showcased his creations in Bangkok, Colombo, Johannesburg, London, Sydney, Canberra, Rio and Sao Paulo.

In 1999 Jattinn did a series of fashion shows across Egypt starting from Cairo, Aswan Luxor to Hurghada. Along with the fashion shows, Jattinn also exhibited his first painting exhibition in Egypt, which further traveled and was exhibited at the �Casual Power House� art gallery in Sydney.

In India he has had shows regularly in metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Bangalore along with Mussorie, Bhopal, Surat, Baroda, Cochin etc.

In 2004 Jattinn showcased his spring summer 05 collection at the Kuala Lumpur Asia Fashion Week.

Early this summer (2005) Jattinn designed a school uniform for one of the leading schools in New Delhi �Tagore International School� comprising of summer, winter and the sports uniform along with specially designed shoes and other accessories.

Jattinn designed for the opening sequence of the Viennese ball for the Royal Austrian embassy, New Delhi in September�05.

Jattinn showcased his spring summer 06-swimwear line and eveningwear line at the Singapore Asia fashion week 05 and at the Kuala Lumpur Asia fashion week 05.

Jattinn debut�s as a costume director for international cross over feature film "Fuzion"slated for an International release by mid 2006. Also in store is a painting exhibition by Jattinn scheduled for Sep� 06.

Spring Summer�07 at the Wills lifestyle India Fashion Week in new Delhi ,India in September�06.

� Yuva Ratna Award by the Youth Congress for his contribution towards the unity & diversity of India through his designs.

VERSATILE PERSONALITY

Jattinn also has to his credit several popular television shows such as khoobsurat, Fashion Square, The India show etc.as an anchor, guest anchor and several other television shows in which his expertise in terms of conceptualizing and styling was used.
Along with television Jattinn did a short stint on radio as well.

His contribution in academics concerning �Fashion� also has been praise worthy. Jattinn was heading the National Institute Of Fashion Design as the Director General for the academic session 2000-2001. He has been conducting workshops on various aspects of fashion with some of the best Fashion Institutes across the country.

Jattinn has been actively writing on Fashion and other lifestyle related topics for some of the leading dailies as well as for Fashion and Lifestyles Publication like The Hindustan Times, The Times Of India, Indian Express, H.T Persona, Just teens, Dainik Hindustan, Dainik Bhasker, Femina, New Women, Teens-Today,4th D Woman,Ah Zindagi etc.
