I am an ex fashion stylist. I have been in the fashion industry for seven years. I started out on the fashion desk of Elle magazine and had a lot of fun with the other 'workies' as we were known. It was lovely to work with the fabulous Sairey Stemp, Claudia Navone and Ian R Webb. I left Elle magazine to assist Lauren Goldstein on the international fashion desk of Time (Warner). I later went freelance and enjoyed working with Harriet Jagger, Claudia Navone, Chloe Beeney and Neeley Moore.

I was then offered a long term contract with Sunday Times Style magazine. Working with Helen Kenny and Talib Choudhry (an ex Elle workie) was pure fashion. After Style, I worked with the gorgeous Hershey Pascual at Star magazine - where I stayed until I had King Alex (my baby boy) in 2004. I then set up a model agency called 'othermodels' that represents models of colour.

After doing some work for a new magazine -my love for all things fashion/styling & writing was back and as I have always wanted my own magazine -I set about trying to make it happen. Through research, I discovered that there was no high calibre, High fashion / lifestyle magazine aimed at the successful woman of colour and so I have decided to make this happen and -I'm now putting a new fabulous magazine together.
