At the age of 33 me, Tarunn, is still a photographer.
At 28 I quit and started out as a freelance fashion and people photographer.
At 26 I landed a job at a printing press and shot products for catalogues.
At 25 I wanted to quit photography for lack of work and money.
At 23 I got married and switched back to photography for a living.
At 22 I got thrown out of college.
At 21 I wanted to be a painter.
At 19 I enrolled to study painting and met my future wife.
At 18 I assisted a photographer.
At 15 I first thought of becoming a photographer.
At 11 I wanted to be a scientist.
At 5 I wanted to fly fighter planes for the Indian Air Force.
In 1973 I was born to a photographer by the name of Nirmal Kumar.
In 1966 my father opened a photo studio in Kota, Rajasthan.
In 1955 my father went to Jaipur in Rajasthan to learn photography from my grandfather Mr Anant Ram Tak.
In 1949 my grandfather was gifted a photography studio by the late His Highness Man Singh of Jaipur State Royal Family.
In 1919 my great grandfather Mr Nathu Ram Tak started photography for the late His Highness Ummed Singh of Jodhpur State Royal Family.
In 1915 my great grandfather learnt photography from the English army and then worked for them to document the First World War.
