Two London Designers have exposed their love of clothing through digital print. Exploring the inside-out of a garment to reveal the beauty of its inner construction and deconstruction. Digital Surreal images of hand knitted cardigans ,decaying t-shirts, distressed leather and laddered chiffon. Super-imposed on de-constructed jersey garments
These much loved thread bare items with all there imperfections and signs of age have been used as inspiration for deconstructed details such as worn necks and raw edges.
Using technically advanced processes such as laser cutting And digital printing. The designers have developed the collection and its surreal concept.
In reference to this the designers were asked by the Victoria Albert Museum in London to take part in the ‘Surreal things’ Exhibition at The V&A in London March 2007.
