I am an artist and designer, working primarily in costume design for performance. My work continues to explore identity and eventuality through dress, and has taken many forms from theatrical costume design, illustration, live art and fashion design. I am a founding member and associate artist of Lotos Collective, dedicated to the production of site-specific live art events. I have a small independent line of recycled fashion including a line of vintage textile baby bibs. I am a trader at the Saturday Backyard Market on Brick Lane,I currently also manage an archive of vintage garments and textiles for sale as inspiration to the fashion industry.
This year I will undertake an MA in Fashion Curation at the London College of Fashion. I currently hold a Bachelors in Illustration and Art History from Pratt Institute in NYC where I was born and grew up before emigrating to London in 1996 to study theatrical design at Motley. My focus in the MA will be on Fashion exhibition design, and anachronism in fashion.
