30 year-old New Yorker taking his "road less traveled," opting out of the family businesses (real estate and Broadway), to go his own and work toward the dream of becoming a well-respected, often-sought art director in the worlds of retail, fashion and global consumer brands.

A creative by nature and passion, I started out as a writer, then fought my way into business school. It was important to me to learn the marketing side of the industry, so I could confidently communicate with the numbers- and brand-savvy clients I hoped would one day greenlight the notebooks full of editorial and ad concepts I'd been dreaming up for years.

Now, I am working hard on nights and weekends to find some great mentors, and to meet some like-minded creatives who'd be interested in hearing (and bringing to life) some of my concepts and creative visions.

I am in the process constructing my site, which will showcase my fine art and commercial designs. Additionally, in March 2009, my apparel line of men's and women's tops, called e.g. minskoff, will be launching.
