Daviel Lazure Vieira is a creative journalist from Montreal, Canada. He attended Dawson College in the Creative Arts, Language and Literature Program, Arts & Culture profile. He worked as an independant journalist for both French and English Canadian magazines such as Entre les lignes, Urbania, Living with Style and the prestigious enRoute magazine, a monthly publication that has received numerous awards, including Best Travel Magazine at the 2007 North American Travel Journalists' Association Awards. His texts have also been published in newspapers. He was chief editor of the literary section for the alternative web-magazine P45, and contributed as a writer for Quebec's Graphic Designer Society. He also worked as a freelancer for the French Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC/Radio-Canada). His latest projects include writing the foreword and some texts for a book about paraffin and Morocco, made by Pierre Choiniere, a well-known and internationally acclaimed photographer, who previously worked for Christian Dior, and participating in COLORS Notebook, a project set up by Fabrica, Benetton's research center for communication, the COLORS Magazine and Reporters without borders. He became Editorial Assistant for enRoute Magazine in May 2008.
