simplicity
I like simplicity, quietness, clarity and things that show the essential.

authenticity
I seek autheticity – values which are important to me and that at the same time act upon me and my work – such as intensitiy , subversion , a notion for the unusual , eccentricity , the beauty of a moment , sensuous depth, complexity and handicraft.

individuality
I attempt to define individuality with my work – to create images that induce people to express their unique characteristics – to answer the question , whether individuality is even possible – to find out , which graduations it may bear – to see , what kind of function clothes/fashion have/has in demonstrating individuality.

order and chaos
I love perfection, the definite endpoint of something – yet at the same time this state is unbearable to me. Thus I try to break it, dissolve and destroy it, in order to displace its elements and coherences. I attempt to rearrange everything in a way that seems right to me at the moment.

form
When I create clothing I always define its form first - I decide if it will correspond to the human body’s shape or whether it will gain space itself and become a sculpture which bonds with the human being.

wo.man
My designs always come from traditional and contemporary forms of mens clothes, which I translate into woman during the design process – without questioning the difference between the sexes, I try to confront women with a male world in order to make it accessible to them. I connect them with this world and liberate them from common female role models.
