I am grappling with the idea of being an intellectual muse, using the academic fashion knowledge I am honing to assist designers in concepts for collections. I would especially like to assist any of the Antwerp Six, yet I fear they are intellectual enough already.
In the words of the 1937 Surrealists' Manifesto of the Avant Garde;
'Intervene as poets, artists and intellectuals by violent or subtle subversion and by stimulating creativity and desire.'
I tend to wish the world to appear a little more like the French new wave movement.
