I'm a Fashion Photographer in New York City. I started out during 1998 in San Juan, Puerto Rico after having studied Illustration in New York. While working as a photo assistant I was offered an internship at a monthly magazine. That led to a full-time photographer contract. I was mostly doing celebrity portraits, and a few fashion editorials. Later I was picked up by an advertising agency to exclusively cover events for one of their clients. This got me mixed into the runway shows, parties, and concerts.
In 2001 I relocated to New York, and in a few months began doing a few model tests. I continued to shoot models in New York as well as London. Spring/Summer 2004 became my first season shooting NY Fashion Week. People, places, and Music all inspire me to do what I do. I've taken my work to Buenos Aires/Argentina, and Tokyo/Japan, but there are many more cities where I'd like to work.
Show Studio definitely opens my eyes to innovation, and the creativity I see here is endless.
