Maria was born in Paris France where she studied Piano, Art, and Ballet. Her creative nature led her to ACAD( Alberta College of Art and Design
where she majored in Drawing. After this she Attended Mount Royal College and completed Interior design. With a strong interest in Millinery since she was a child, she apprenticed in vintage millinery design back in 1991 for over a year. Today, in her studio she works on many customs works. Each hat is unique and true to her nature: feminine, bold, majestic and simply timeless. Her hats and paintings are a vivid part of her everyday life.
