To celebrate 10 years of pre-eminence as the most inventive mavericks on the International fashion scene, Viktor and Rolf have been awarded a monographic exhibition by the prestigious Musee de la Mode et du Texile in the Louvre complex, Paris, the first since Yves Saint Laurent in 1986. SHOWstudio has been granted an exclusive opportunity to be taken on a privileged tour of the exhibition with Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoering themselves, just prior to it's opening on October 7th, at the outset of Paris Fashion Week. SHOWstudio Editor in Chief Penny Martin will be discussing the exhibition in detail with the designers who also curated the exhibition. SHOWstudio will create a short film of each of Viktor and Rolf's own personal highlights of the vast museum-wide show. Known as meticulous chroniclers of the fashion system who accentuate certain of its codes 'VIKTOR & ROLF by VIKTOR & ROLF - first decade' promises to continue their critical analysis of fashion and in so doing delight.
