The Rebel

A long-tern moniker of artist Ben Wallers The Rebel have been recording and playing under this Hancock hommage-title since 1989, and his lyrical project has at times mirrored the film's scrutiny of the 'urge to mock' rhetoric of anti-intellectualism. The symbolic monikor of The Rebel is the Spakenkreutz (pictured) which has been given two and three-dimensional form, and banner status as the symbol for S.P.A.K.O.: The Society for the Protection and Killing of Octopuses.
