Ten creative expert super stars from the worlds of photography, fashion, design, retail and modelling were chosen to scrutinise and vote on each look. Each cast their vote by playing the game and their top three selections are revealed here.
NICK KNIGHT'S Picks

Winner: SiSeN, shibuya・harajuku, Cyber Goth (Rank 112) The distinction between reality and make believe is so blurred with this contestant, she has really sparked my imagination and I love the fact I can't tell whether she is a picture or for real. I wish the world was populated with more people like her. 2nd Pick: GAKI, omotesando, rock punk (Rank 60) This contestant has a very bold and subversive way of dressing, he is aspiring to the neat and tidiness of suit dressing whilst combining it with dressing down. It's quite rock and roll, I'd like to meet him. 3rd Pick: mayutan, harajuku, kigurumi (Rank 604) Apart from the fact that I love her, I needed one more person to make up my three-piece band, that I would love to form from my Beams choices. Coming to your iPod very soon...
PETER JENSEN'S Picks

Winner: TANE, ginza, shitamachi (Rank 1005) I love this picture, he's really ordinary. It reminds me of the work of a Japanese photographer I like that published these brilliant books of street photography, annoyingly I can’t remember his name! I like the 90s Gapness of him. 2nd Pick: Mz, harajuku, suite (Rank 1400) I just like her, she looks very dignified and timeless. She's very natural. 3rd Pick: KACKY, harajuku, suites (Rank 1250) I loved all these kind of boys in suits, they look brilliant. This one just had the edge some how, they look super-smart.
LILY COLE'S Picks

Winner: 11360, yokohama, none (Rank 908) He’s the musical man! Beautifully simple and unassuming, it just works, love the pink and red clash, the simplicity, the strange cut of the cardi and of course the notes. 2nd Pick: nakamoto, shibuya, neet-kei (Rank 767) There is something very brilliant and very cool about this man. Perhaps the goatee does favours, and the celtic streak in me. Either way he isn’t trying, but he is winning. 3rd Pick: KOJI, ikebukuro, casual (Rank 531) Tokyo clash of the patterns. Understated madness I reckon. The Portobello look taken three steps further. Brilliant coat and shorts. I like all the jewellery and of course her hair and smile won me over!
SARAH (COLETTE)'S Picks

Winner: V, extra, casual (Rank 900) I like the contrast of the classic top: tie with the bottom - sneaker & socks the pen in the pocket is a detail but for me, a sign of someone who has things to say. Above all, I admire the grace of his jump! 2nd Pick: KASHIMU, omotesando, casual (Rank 624) Firstly, this girl is beautiful looking which of course helps, but I like her simple style, the tee, her hair, her position (the finger is waiting to show us something). It's a very polite style, but I think its nice because it’s timeless. She doesn’t try to follow anything. 3rd Pick: ELOIS, shibuya・harajuku, ROCKABILLY (Rank 317) I know it's quite opposite to my other choices, but this little family looks wonderful! The classic Chinese dress next to the rocker, they're like an incarnation of a dream and I think it's beautiful... It's not too much because they really believe in their costume; they're like a travel in the time and countries.
JUN TAKAHASHI'S Picks

Winner: SAITO, extra, Islam-kei (Rank 112) This look has a good balance and colour combination. 2nd Pick: OGU, harajuku, casual (Rank 1312) This is nice and simple too, beautiful trousers. 3rd Pick: GEISHA, yokohama, f(future) (Rank 881) The bag looks heavy! Mine is always heavy as well!
MIHO KINOMURA'S Picks

Winner: genki, shinjuku, serow-rock (Rank 356) Impressed by a great total balance including hair colour and make up. Love the way green is used too. She must be a real fashionista. 2nd Pick: takako, shimokitazawa, 60's (Rank 502) High level of coordination with vintage items here! She really brings her tiny frame to life with this Parisian style. Look at the way she wears her purple mini! It’s great! 3rd Pick: haname, ginza, nationalist-radical (Rank 464) Total Japanese style! A lot going on but it shows up as a great original style. Love the way she uses vivid colours.
KAZUYOSHI MINAMAGOE'S Picks

Winner: Atsushi・Shieri, shibuy・harajuku, geijutsu no aki-kei (Rank 52) I am sort of against fashionable kids, but this couple has exceptional style. It must be daddy’s influence of course! 2nd Pick: masuo, shinjuku, minzoku (Rank 1337) Since this is a “style war” rather than a trendy person contest, I tend to select for style and its impact. In that sense he is the one who made an impact on me as is playing for real! 3rd Pick: kanari, shibuya・harajuku, casual (Rank 321) She is not a fashion amateur for many reasons, I feel like I have been hit over the head with her look.
KENSUI ARAO'S Picks

Winner: Sae, shibuya・omotesando, lolita (Rank 707) This look is perfection beyond just a costumed play look. Her world is free from gravity, dimension and scale. 2nd Pick: jun, shibuya, cool wear (Rank 658) With this one I could feel the reality of Tokyo Style the most, through details like the way he wears his hat, does his buttons up, down to the plastic bag. 3rd Pick: nao, shibuya・harajuku, ero-cawa-cool (Rank 242) To live or not to live with school uniform? That must be where Tokyo Style is born. Overwhelming transparency. ‘kirei-desu’.
HIROSHI KUBO'S Picks

Winner: norichan, sapporo, none (Rank 544) I like the shorts with cuffs, hi cut shoes, fitted shirts and beaten muffler and hat. Love it! Great originality and on trend! 2nd Pick: Yasu, yokohama, VAN-kei (Rank 639) Great glasses, hair, trouser length, character, that’s what the IVY league/preppy look is all about! This is a popular look at the moment and he looks so fresh for that reason. 3rd Pick: NORI, harajuku, casual (Rank 713) Neat! Got an impression that she really owns her style, almost melting into herself! Great balance! Love the way she coordinates pants with pumps.
SHOWSTUDIO'S Picks

Winner: TSUYAKO, harajuku, east coast 50's (Rank 1074) In a world of caricature and big statements this 1940s wren is conspicuous in her reservedness. 2nd Pick: SAAYA, shinjuku, idol (Rank 1050) We love the way this woman seems to understand the visual potential of her outfit: from the way she’s lifting out her skirt for full frill potential and craning back her head to create a c-shaped curve, you can tell she’s done it a hundred times in the mirror! From a distance, she looks like a tropical duck, perched on top of a shopping trolley! 3rd Pick: bokuchan, shibuya, casual (Rank 240) This amiable gent caught our eye in his "Thousand Island Dressing" cardigan and shirt combo. We love the smart slacks with trainers too, he looks just the part as a young Bing Crosby for the 21st Century. The finishing touch of an Eley Kishimoto "Flash" hat clinches the vote.
