Biography
Philip Treacy is one of Britain's foremost milliners. Born in County Galway in Ireland, he attended the Royal College of Art in London and his 1990 graduation show gained him international recognition from the fashion industry. Treacy has won British Accessory Designer of the Year award five times and during his acclaimed career, he has worked with design houses including Chanel, Versace, Valentino, Thierry Mugler, Rifat Ozbek, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy. Treacy held his first solo show in 1993 in which Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Stella Tennant modeled the collection. Treacy has proceeded to show in New York and once a year at the Autumn/Winter collections in London.
