Incentive

The winner will be invited to join Silvia Kadolsky for a day in the International school of fashion ESMOD in Berlin, to get an insight into the workings of this extraordinary school. Afterwards, the winner will be taken to dinner at the well-known restaurant 'Modellhut' in Berlin.

Biography

Silvia Kadolsky is the Director of ESMOD (École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode), the International School of Fashion. Born in Germany, she moved to Paris at the age of 19 to work in sales at 'Tiktinger de luxe'. At 23, after working as an assistant buyer, she moved to New York, where she worked at the Ritz Carlton, as a travel agent and as a film casting agent before turning to fashion, working in the Paris showrooms of Azzedine Alaïa, Hermès, Jean-Louis Scherer, Thierry Mugler and Popy Moreni. In 1989, she opened the first German branch of ESMOD in Munich, together with Dorothea Beisser and 55 students. Over the last 15 years, Silvia and Dorothea have established the ESMOD Germany as one of the most famous and renowned fashion schools in Germany with an intensive network to the international industry. With their exceptional curriculum and their continuous international mode of operation they have definitively influenced the German fashion industry.
