FUTURE NOW 02: Jens Laugesen A/W ’06-7

We are pleased to host an exclusive presentation of FUTURE NOW 02:MAY: a showcase of fashion designer Jens Laugesen’s collection for the forthcoming A/W ’06 -7 season. The film entitled ‘MAY’ will be screened live on SHOWstudio in tandem with a film presentation tonight (18:30 UK time) in Paris as part of Fashion Week. Preferring an online presentation to the classic runway show, the conceptual short is the fourth in a series of films featuring Jens Laugesen’s collections to be screened on SHOWstudio. Inspired by the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammersøj’s interior studies of women, in particular this 1885 ‘Portrait of a Young Girl’, Laugesen’s designs will be modelled by Danish model May Anderson in a film created in collaboration with long-standing contributor Marcus Werner Hed and stylist Alastair McKimm.
