I am sure that the Queen of Tonga might raise a disapproving eyebrow at today's 'Supermodels,' likewise the Pygmies of Africa might cringe in horror at the sight of some fashionistas. I was struck by the poetry of the Galliano show; he had effectively turned the world upside down, but this new reality probably made perfect sense to someone else, somewhere else. What looks normal to one person can look odd to another. Which viewpoint is correct? This ambiguity was beautifully captured in the footage of Nick Knight.”
