About The Project

Partnering with VMAN and Ford Models, in May and June 2009 SHOWstudio offered our male viewers the chance to become the next face of men's fashion. Chosen from over a thousand entrants by Nick Knight and Simon Foxton, our first finalist D'Marco Jones will be shot, with our cameras broadcasting every move. A real-life real-time editorial will unfold before your very eyes as we upload Nick Knight's unretouched images live.

The final countdown

The search is over! Well, just about. This Friday 2 October 2009, Nick Knight and Simon Foxton will collaborate once more to shoot the second selection of finalists from the wealth of entries to our VMAN Model Search. One lucky model chosen from our two shoots will win the coveted prize - the position as 'cover boy' for VMAN 16, and a contract with Ford Models. What's more, the whole shoot will be taking place live as part of SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution in the custom-built studio space at Somerset House. Tune in from 11am on Friday to see all the action live.

Final call for entries!

If you haven't already submitted your entry, time is running out for your chance to be the next face of men's fashion: the deadline for the second and final leg of our VMAN Model Search is Midnight GMT tonight! Nick Knight will be shooting the second finalist later this month, and our overall winner will feature on the VMAN 16 cover and receive a contract with Ford.
