About The Project

Partnering with VMAN and Ford Models, in May and June 2009 SHOWstudio offered our male viewers the chance to become the next face of men's fashion. Chosen from over a thousand entrants by Nick Knight and Simon Foxton, our first finalist D'Marco Jones will be shot, with our cameras broadcasting every move. A real-life real-time editorial will unfold before your very eyes as we upload Nick Knight's unretouched images live.

A Call Out to the Boys!

Today marks the launch of our VMAN Model Search: an exciting opportunity for one of our male viewers to become the next face of men's fashion. Running in association with US menswear title VMAN and Ford Models, the competition invites model hopefuls to upload images and videos of themselves until the 15 June 2009 deadline when they will be judged by Nick Knight. As well as receiving a model contract with Ford Models, the lucky winner will also be photographed by Nick Knight and styled by Simon Foxton for an editorial spread and the prestigious cover slot of the upcoming VMAN 15.
