We attended the protests in Genoa against the G8 Summit (July 2001)
This was to demonstrate our concerns with regards to huge corporations who have become accountable only to themselves, who are seemingly gaining a stranglehold on the democratic rights of the citizens of the world.
We protested against a future solely governed by money and the consequences this will have on creative expression.
We wanted to ask questions but all we saw was Government controlled Police, brutalizing the demonstrators.
It was not as we thought, a celebration of democracy, but an affirmation of our deepest fears...
