For May, our first Political Fashion film comes courtesy of Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, examining, dissembling and ultimately deconstructing the familiar forms and conventions of fashion - and specifically the fashion show.

I came across the work of this artist last year on a trip round Europe and I am very pleased to find her work here.
Her work is really worth looking into ,I saw a very clever piece she had made with mens ties and some stunning life size crochet covered porcelain dogs,
The piece de resistance however was a chandelier made of tampons.
I am so happy to find more of her art.
