I like idea of representing fashion as a gypsy. It must seem appropriate if like Julian d'ys you are travelling all the time.It is something that we forget that for a lot of people in the fashion world they are constantly travelling. You hear bands complaining about being 'on the road', well for models , make up artists and hairdressers they can spend most of their year travelling from place to place. i should imagine it gives a feeling of homelessness and detachment that most of us who have more static domestic arrangements.
Beautiful the idea of purification by milk.Isn't it a north african tradition/belief?

The ancient Egyptians believed in a healthy life, that included to follow certain rituals which were prescribed by a member of the priest caste .... that meant to take and maintain a restrictive diet as well as much bathing ... and the most legendary and well known for her wholesome extravagance of bathing in milk to soother her skin .... was none other than the ancient Queen of Egypt ... Cleopatra ....

since when does a gypsy look like her? i think julian could've at least chosen a more visually interesting looking girl than a blonde skinny typical model. it goes against the whole 'gypsy' idea and a more 'ikea' corporate type of project.

I find this a very 'interesting' comment !.... I we were to cast a colour girl in the musical ANNIE ... because after all it is a story about a human tragedy .. I'm sure that everyone would agree with me ! ... but if we were to cast a gypsy and I QUOTE here what I personally consider a the rather racially motivated comment ... ":i think julian could've at least chosen a more visually interesting looking girl than a blonde skinny typical model. it goes against the whole 'gypsy' idea and a more 'ikea' corporate type of project. '... meaning of a North European type or race... then suddenly the idea SHE the model is definitely and totally unacceptable!! ..

I do love the politically correct views of people trying to teach the world how to become more tolerant of US ... HUMANS ... and yet the rules are applied when it is to our particular and personal liking, taste .....and GOD forbid .... if that doesn't fit our particular and singular taste !! ...I do love people preaching what they are not prepare to practise !........ Indeed what a beautiful, wonderful and heavenly tolerant world !

I presume the pure Arian look is a la mode at the moment; not sure what this video is about though...looks like a promo for the milk board or something.

Just for the record It spells Aryan ....I assume you are not referring to the word as in the contest used in India and Iran for a demographic denomination in their country .... mind you Aryan is also a common male name in India, Afghanistan, and Iran... isn't that rather ironic ? .... and yet a rather nice use of the word for a change after having being tainted by humans obsessed with irrational thinking ..... also known as ..... ZEALOTS !
