Im never really sure what Stella McCartney's childish invites are meant to signify - other than a return to innocence and a lighthearted, frivolous joke that shouldn't have too much read into it. In itself, that's refreshing enough for fashion. This season, with her plastic yo-yo clutched firmly in hand, I'm on my way to her early early show now, but this time it's me that's running seriously late!

Like Stella my client Dr Rand Pink the celebrity gynecologist has come to the fashion party with new ideas; He first was inspired by Diane von Furstenberg with the wrap dress made of paper for his patients. He now has offered up hos version of formal beachwear and a bathing suit wedding gown. His slinky cocktail dress includes shoulder straps made from the popular slinky toy made famous years ago. Pink who is a doctor, comic, filmaker and noted womanizer has been linked to Cameron Diaz, Tamara Mellon, Christie Brinkley, Fabiola Beracasa, Valesca Guerrand Hermes and Kelly Klein. He hopes to work for Marc Jacobs and join the LVMH family at a creative post. His latest design seen in Costa Rica was worn by his current gash Aviva were diving flippers with heels in yellow patent leather. Aviva's suit and goggles were also done in patent leather. Dr Rand Pink is the newest face of lunacy to hit the runway or a pipe in a long time.
