‘Fun’ and ‘Fashion’ are seldom willing bedfellows – luckily, Antoine Peters is a glorious exception to this rule. His Future Tense film, A SWEATER FOR THE WORLD! is an expansion on a long-term project to bring his brand of relentless, infectious optimism to a global audience. Peters' sweater, blown to surreal proportions in order to comfortably accommodate two (or more) inhabitants, is a garment designed to unite people across the globe, and it’s impossible not to crack a smile when watching his film. Which is probably the best compliment you could pay to Peters and his work.
