'Untitled' by 0044
French label 0044 collaborate with video artist Elizabeth Creseveur to create the latest installment in our Future Tense project. With Creseveur’s work focusing on body, space and movement, the runway show is a natural starting-point – and perhaps the most traditional form of fashion in movement. In contrast to most fashion show footage, Creseveur’s film of 0044’s A/W 2007 show is shot in grainy black-and-white, focusing on the intricacies and complexities of their wrapped, strapped and decidedly punk-influenced collection. Le Rock indeed.
It reminded me somewhat of Brothers of the Head, in a good way.
