'Peter Jensen's Screen Tests' by Peter Jensen
It's oft-bemoaned that fashion has no sense of humour - luckily, this accusation never be leveled at Peter Jensen. For Future Tense, he creates Peter Jensen’s Screen Tests – a casting featuring models in his S/S 2009 menswear answering questions, posed by Peter himself, that run the gamut from the sublime to the ridiculous. First showcased at his menswear presentation in Copenhagen this summer, this film brings both Peter’s garments and the often two-dimensional idea of the mannequin to vibrant life, infusing both with the whimsical character that is Jensen's hallmark. When we asked Peter to describe his customer, he simply said “Delightful” – and there’s really no better word for this film.
