'She said...' by Ioannis Dimitrousis

With its rather tongue-twisting title - She said: “Eh I know you, and you cannot sing;” He said: “That’s nothing, you should hear me play Piano” - taken from the Smiths song 'The Queen is Dead,' you might expect something equally dark and convoluted from Ioannis Dimitrousis' Future Tense film. However, like the young Greek designer's skillfully-wrought clothes, She said... is infused with pale light and sensuous movement to showcase Dimitrousis' complex, genderless collection on suitably androgynous models.

Optically exquisite ! and the music is just absolutely perfect .... unconsciously it takes me back to ' The Cell ' if just because of the ' dream ' like effect ....

Dull?? Not This Video...!

Its beautifully styled and has an exposed feeling to it of raw beauty.

Very inspirational and leaves you wanting more!

This video sucks.

The clothes are not at all innovative. Anything so special about his knitwear?

The music is even worse. It is obviously experimental classical, which is part of the on-going modernism movement. It was created long ago. I don't see any real futuristic element here.

It is totally irrelevant to the project.

Just being confusing, ambivalent is not futuristic. It is a crime committed by a post-modernist who tries to hard to be avant-garde.

Quote....." It is a crime committed by a post-modernist who tries to hard to be avant-garde."

CRIME :an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law

AVANT-GARDE: new and unusual or experimental ideas, esp. in the arts, or the people introducing them

MODERNISM: modern character or quality of thought, expression, or technique : when he waxes philosophical, he comes across as a strange mix of nostalgia and modernism.
-a style or movement in the arts that aims to break with classical and traditional forms.

POSTMODERNISM:a late 20th-century style and concept in the arts, architecture, and criticism that represents a departure from modernism and has at its heart a general distrust of grand theories and ideologies as well as a problematical relationship with any notion of "art.'"

SUCKS: (informal) be very bad, disagreeable, or disgusting

Just checking such rich and very inventive vocabulary ...... interesting points ! and to think that IOANNIS DIMITROUSIS graduated in 2005 in menswear .... makes one wonder indeed.... indeed !!!
