Our major retrospective exhibition SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution will open at London’s Somerset House on 18 September this year, but in the meantime we are launching a new competition, based around our ever-expanding Design_Download series and giving our viewers a chance to showcase their own creations along side award winning work from SHOWstudio.
Until 1 August 2009, we are giving you the chance to create your own interpretation of a pattern courtesy of seven world-renowned fashion designers: John Galliano, Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen, Maison Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe, Gareth Pugh, and Antony Price. All seven patterns are available to download exclusively from SHOWstudio. Judged by a panel of fashion experts including Nick Knight, Alistair O'Neil, Professor Penny Martin and Claire Catterall, the ten winning interpretations will feature in the exhibition at Somerset House. Runner-up entries will also be featured on SHOWstudio.com, so get your scissors and staflex ready!

Your prayers have been answered Jean Claude! the competition is now open to entries from all over the world (and any age!)
