New Fashion Film Launched!

There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion - and indeed, what could be more strange or beautiful than Nick Knight's latest shoot of truly Unbelievable Fashion, featured in December's British Vogue? Painstakingly edited from the frantic, frenetic action captured live on set, this film short animates a selection of incredible and iconic examples of contemporary fashion craft from the likes of John Galliano, Rei Kawakubo, Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan to name but few, into vibrant and thoroughly unexpected life. Watch as models Lily Donaldson and Jourdan Dunn tap, twist, twirl and whirl a dervish in an outlandish array of the most esoteric, eccentric and extreme looks of the 21st Century.

Wonderfully alive. Still imagery couldn't possibly capture the same feeling. That the future of fashion is moving image seems completely clear.

Fitting that one of the most famous experiments in animation and music was also called Fantasia.

I think the first sequence of the girl flying off into the sky is really fresh. It does have a disney esq feel to it, but in a good way.
I particularily like the cloud patterns against the blue sky throughout the film.
Uplifting!

It's nice to see some old favorite pieces of mine come alive again in this film, Dior Queen Mum shoes!(in first clip).

Nostalgic and new at the same time, I love it!
