Invited by ANOTHER magazine to re-work their first ever cover for an exhibition at Colette to mark the Parisian boutique’s 10th birthday celebrations, Nick Knight asked the SHOWstudio audience to describe the picture he shot for it in words. Some of you tried to stay faithful to the image and offered us lofty poetic mimicry while some of you decided to destroy Nick’s intimate idyll in favour of a more vernacular expression. You also raised some interesting questions: was this a portrayal of real nature or was it just nature conceptualised? Either way, we decided that all of your typographic solutions should be counted and these have been animated to include the breadth of entries and evoke the palette of the original image.
