Yes Sorry for the plug, Aas a creative person with a pashion for image making, infact it is my life. I find that I am living below the poverty line in order to try and achive my goal in life. It is a shame that we are in a country that makes it very hard to get established within the creative field, yes a lot of art shocks, but who are the people who are making the most money in art? not the people who conform. Also it still seems that a lot odf the creaive areas are closed or a lot more dificalt to get in to unles you live in london.. Going back to the magazines, creativly, the Face changed the direction of creative photography and grafic art and possibly invented pop art, Dazed and CONFUSED with the founder Mr Rankin was also a breath of fresh air, using the models as part of the artform as well as the clothes, I do not see why we should not look at the whole consept as an art form instead of going back to borring snapy image making that is non inspirational. Clothes sell when an image stays in the head, a bit like a catchy tune. Thanks for the coments and lets try and be possitive in our views, anyone can be bitchy when attacking the views of others but what the point. I try and be constructive with my views. Sorry again if you thought that I was plugging my self, I am based in Devon and am fininding it very hard to get established, but will, I have put to much time and effort in to what I am trying to achive to fail , Going back to the surf pictures, a few years ago I had an exhibition at the Wharf Arts galleery in Tavisock with Barry Lategon, David Baily was showing people areound my work. I told baily that the South West was vibrent and exiting, a few weeks later I met him on a beach doing a shoot for Italia Vogue
