My favourite Barry Lategan is the gatefold UK Vogue cover he did in the 70s (when Revlon sponsored their fold-outs) that cuts the face in half, so you can't see the eyes. It was a real gift when I had to teach feminism and fashion photography! Come to think of it, it might have been art directed by Terry Jones before he left Vogue to set up i-D: I'd have to look it up.
Are you sure about him 'finding' Twiggy, though, Chris. Are you sure that wasn't Ronald Traeger (or at least, it was Traeger that really established her)? http://www.npg.org.uk/live/search/person.asp?LinkID=mp61805&role=art
