PIC........NATURAL BEAUTY !

Do people really believe that it is possible to achieve "perfect" beauty ?...Do people really believe that beauty adds are true to the eye ?...or is it just wishful thinking ?......I sometimes wonder because if you think real hard the average model cosmetic companies use are mostly at their peak of their natural beauty....so nothing induced by using this or that can achieve what nature perfectly can.......and yet people tend to believe that certain product does work ( look at the billions spent ...) even if the role model used as example in the add is a wrinkles free face because only and just only nature’s kindness and normal process ...... and as for the ‘older’ models , in any case, they all get a 'manipulation' treatment...so it is fair to assume that in a way the public consciously wants to believe because it makes it possible to keep hope alive !...I wonder then if the public is just kidding themselves ?.......could and should we blame the {fashion} photographer or filmmaker for propagating such irresistible and desirable illusion that fits perfectly in our world of insecurities.....insecurities (consciously or unconsciously }created and propagated by ourselves in order to feel important and relevant.....to our fellow humans...it is somehow just a game of minds.......survival of the fittest in a powerful ‘visual’ world....

I think it has to do with the articles in fashion magazines, not just the photos, the photos alone without words are only fantasies, when they are out of context with the fashion magazines, people would look at them just as photos. When we see fashion photo exhibitions, or archives, we don't analyze them the same way, they are just great photos, but once it's within the realm of fashion journalism, in magazines, people perceive the photos differently. If a fashion photo is attached to an article about for example the perfect diet, then the image could imply that with diet, a perfect model figure is possible to achieve, when the photo has been heavily retouched and distorted. In that content the image becomes partly responsible for extreme distortion of information. I think that's where fashion photos get lots of criticisms for misinforming the public.
