This is another picture from the series I did on gothic Edward last year.
All my later pics start as analogue photos and are then transferd to didigal and then coloured.
I try and get the best results that I can so that the images can also be treated as art and posible card or art prints.
Its amqazing how time runs away with its self when getting published in magazines.
Last year I should have had some work published which would have released a lot of money for two sets of pictures, that magazine folded in August which ment that nothing came of it.
In April I sent some work of to another magazine and was hopping for a set of pictures to be published, that got held back and now looks as though the series could be published in the International magazine in September this year It will be great but it takes so long. I will let you all know what happens.
This picture was originaly taken as a black and white negative, transferd to 5x4 lith film using lith developer and then printed as a positive I thene scaned the picture with added effects to play with the image in the computer.
I got Alister Gall from the Plymouth Raiders basketball team runner up as the face of 2000 at Top Shop in Oxford street I think that he should have won the heat.
If it was in America it would have been beyond a shadow of a doubt I think.
In the UK the boy and girl look was in and the boy and girl winners looked very much the same person.
I took this picture within 15 mins of Alister knocking on my door with his mate and asking me if he could do some modeling.
His mate was pouring water over him for effect.
After this picture was taken Alister re located to New York for three years and I was moving him around America.
He is now in a two piece band and still playing basketball for Plymouth Raiders.
And has a cute American girl friend.
This picture of Justis was taken in August this year 2006 in one of the hotest summers we have had in the UK.
Justic was part of the alternative Plymouth gothic scene before he moved to London with his girl friend a few weeks ago.
The shirt says god is busy can I help
A few years ago, Creative Camera did a test run with the first targeted cover picture for magazines which has been used many times since, this picture was one of mine used in a branch of the magazine.
