Do excuse me ... and although I believe I have made my point I cannot somehow let it go ... if just for the sake of logic ... : I do admire how when it comes to corruption in third world countries ... read ' corruption by the people against their own people' seems to get a kind of 'understanding' and brushed aside rather easily ... but then SIMULTANEOUSLY there's so much rage against the WEST ( meaning the white man to be more specific ) because it is totally immoral and irresponsible ( not that it isn't !) to be engaged in 'exploting' (read multinationals )poor nations who have huge reserves of NATURAL RESOURCES ... great assets that can help such poor nations to become less dependable of WESTERN AID !
Of course the problems go deeper than mere corruption..... but were there to be a little less corruption and dedicate their natural resources' income to place the INFRASTRUCTURE needed then I'm sure their misery could become a little less miserable, if just in the name of hope ! .. So I wonder what is worse ... foreign companies running away with the BOUNTY or corrupted governments and individuals at every level of their society helping the 'THIEFS' to run away with the bounty to the detriment of their fellow countrymen ??? ... and indeed because humans being human GREED will always defeat them at their own expenses and because of their OWN foolish DOING ! ... so hope will always be further away and away ...... and then who will be there to take the blame ? ... no not THEMSELVES !

I think the WORLD needs to grow up and face the realities .... pointing the finger at the WEST... the USA ... EUROPE just doesn't add up anymore ....... we are not in 1508 ..., 1608 ... 1708 ....1808 nor even in 1998 ! . .. but in 2008 ! and the world is and thinks very different today ... so the excuses do seem to be running out and it is about time that every individual takes his or her own responsibility for we are leaving in a totally different PLANET where humans are more FREE TO CHOSE and make the best of their lives whenever possible ( yes there are religious exceptions !! ) ..... than besides being obsessed with their physical appearance , ego or vanity ....
