It's a very popular song in Japan and Hong Kong in the 1970's, the song is Japanese, the name means "wind", the singer performing in the clip is a Hong Kong well known singer, Albert Au.

I was so happy when I came across that song on youtube, they used to play that song a lot when I was a little girl in Hong Kong.
This is another recent one, you might have heard of it, from a HK movie, the story of the movie takes place in Tsing Tao, China(the origin of the famous Chinese beer). For some reason, everytime I hear this melody brings tears to my eyes.

The movie made me want to go see that place though. This one link above is the song "Cops and Robbers", of the movie of the same name, again in Hong Kong. Singer is Teddy Robbin. He is Filipino, a very popular singer/songwriter in HK in the 60's 70's and early 80's. I don't know if you have heard of him, his band in HK in the 60's was called "Teddy Robbin and THe Playboys". This movie "Cops and Robbers" came out in 1978/9? One of the first films("Jumping Ash" 1976/77 was considered the first realistic violent film genre about urban slums) that started the Hong Kong wave made up of directors such as Mark Tsai, Ann Hui, John Woo(way before "A Better Tomorrow") It's still an all time classic, composed by Teddy Robbin; the simple instrument in the beginning was fantastic, the melody simple, influenced extremely heavy by the Western genre of "I am Easy"(the song was a huge hit when it came out in HK), Billy Joel's and Elton John's, and James Taylor's, song writer's style.

This is another great song. Even if one doesn't understand Cantonese, it's still a beautiful tone. That TV series looked like really heavy stuff.
