I have come to the belief that all religion is a total
waste of time , it is merely a diversion .
We will all die one day and that will be the end of us .
The beliefs in an afterlife or in reincarnation are unfounded
superstitions .
That some deity is watching over us and taking note of our

I guess I am , I would like to believe and yet it seems nonsensical.
I am slightly envious of those who truly believe in something other than
what they can physically touch and yet I still think that they are deluded.
SEEING that this is an interesting point of view ... I won't let it pass ...even against my better judgement... LOL !!...because is far to relevant!
... Religion is mankind own invention and not always a flawless one ! People are free to practice whatever religion they may wish or want to , it's their personal freedom... the problem lies when certain religion's principles are based or attempt total control of humans everyday life and their FREE THINKING and spirit... Then religion becomes more of a brainwash method /tool to achieve very dubious and very often poisonous goals and ideals... Religion, instead of creating harmony and a desirable peace among humans, it just contributes to divide, spread hate, create fanaticism of schizophrenic and evil proportions, irrationality and absolute intolerance . And no matter how much they may try to explain how beautiful a particular religion might be or is ... the problem always is that DEEDS count far more than well intended nice poetic, sweet words and justifications put on paper with gold and perfumed ink ! ... and we in the West somehow out of a 'confused' and well meant misguided understanding allow that a certain way of poisonous thinking is allowed to get a foot on the ground just because it sounds 'correct' and noble to do so.... the problem also is that such misguided ' understanding' is just contributing to the fragmentation of society totally in such a rapid tempo , creates and promotes more hatred , and perhaps or very probably in a not far distant future. ( let' pray NOT !).....it may bring about unwanted chaos and more of those little irrational wars like the ones history has shown us along the ages....
Very unfortunately today's politicians are simply far to afraid, very afraid to face the facts, challenges and their personal responsibility by neglecting to use their common sense and the right wisdom in the matters of freedoms, even if that wisdom appears for a short moment not to be so to many people's liking... To close the eyes to the actual realities to what may or is to come will not change anything in the end, but on the contrary it will just postpone events of profound and undesirable significance....
But are we really prepared to follow our consciences ?...I doubt it , or may I say ....don't think so ... because as I personally perceive it, FEAR has already settled in very deep as to make people exercise their total silence perhaps very well meant and in the hope that it will all go away... quietly....the problem and difficulty is that it has never gone that way without..... a huge storm.......
Yes indeed FEAR!... the exact calculating middle used by those fellow human beings whose aim seems to be that of to achieve certain goals where spirituality and the freedom of the human spirit means really absolutely nothing to them and to eagerly claimed by them to care about.......then indeed, indeed, in that case religion has absolute no use at all !!...even if it promises... a fairy tale 'paradise'...
Whether GOD exists or not ...that is up to each individual to believe...but what is really clear is that we HUMANS...do conveniently make use and abuse of the entity called GOD to justify our very own acts of cruelty, selfishness, evil , etc , etc... In order to clear ourselves of any personal blame and justify our own lack of intelligence, rationality and sense of responsibility ...
Yes it is far easier to use GOD...simply because he is nowhere to be seen or heard personally in order to make him accountable for MANKIND's own criminal and evil acts in general towards our fellow men, our planet and the animal kingdom, etc, etc.... so to speak !!!....
Yes, I can't imagine Jesus would think much of the Vatican Palace would he? It's time that religions should start to justify themselves or piss off out. Why should I have to listen to the views of the Ardship of Cambry when he believes in all that hocus pocus nonsense.

Michael Angelo didn't portrayed a papal official once in what the Bible calls HEL ! for no reason :...):) . Jesus certainly , I dare to imagine , could had felt total shame by seeing that his name was being used/misused to rule the world by manipulating his teachings by the ambitious and ' virtuous' religious leaders of the past ... and to think that one of the members of the infamous Borgia family (Pope Alexander VI) could ever figure in the matters of 'spiritual guidance' !... wild !... really wild... totally acid !......
Oh ye of little faith.
Faith is a power when exercised can change the world. It is by faith that angels visit the earth. It is by faith that miracles come about.
Why don't we hear about this happening around us in our daily lives. Two reasons.
First - Read a news paper, watch a news program or ask a media person - bad news sells. The media is a secular vortex of negativity.
Second - Spiritual events of the magnitude you are looking for are sacred and are not shared for that reason.
We are living in a time of unbelief, a time where all things spiritual are mocked on mass. (ie)Watch what happens when I post this.)
The truth is out there. If you really want to know - I mean really want to know - the answer starts with a simple prayer on your knees. But, beware it is like the red pill and the blue pill. Don't ask if your really don't want to know.
Faith is like a seed, when planted it will grow. When cultivated and nourished it will blossom.
