Just want to let you know that during Wednesday 14th - Thursday 15th February - Stockholm will stage its first ever-independent fashion Trade show +46 Trade during Stockholm fashion week. +46 Trade is an extension to the successful +46 Select; a competition for young Swedish designers* which first took place in August 06.

+46 Trade:
The trade show will take place in a newly remodelled gallery space close to the centre of Stockholm (Enskilda Galleriet, 37 Kronobergsgatan). +46 Trade will present the best avant-garde Scandinavian labels as well as a number of selected international labels. +46 Trade is open to selected Swedish and international buyers.

At the venue ‘You Wear it Well’ an exhibition of 12 short films about fashion, style and beauty from around the world will be screened. The exhibition consists of films by creatives such as Bernhard Willhelm, Maison Martin Margiela, Nick Knight and Jeremy Scott.

Located upstairs from the trade-show space is one of Stockholm’s most popular bar and restaurants Allmänna Galleriet. Additional parties and events will be taking place at Allmänna Galleriet and other venues during +46 with IQONS, LoDown Magazine

+46 Select:
During each +46 an internationally renowned jury selects four young designers to stage a full-scale catwalk show during the +46 event. The jury for February 07 consists of:

• Anne-Sofie Back (Fashion Designer)
• Patrik Söderstam (Fashion Designer)
• Lee Carter (Hint Magazine)
• Diane Pernet (www.ashadedviewoffashion.com)
• Sumi Ha (Owner of Best Shop and founder of Ideal Berlin)
• Jerrry Bouthier (Kokon To Zai, BoomBox)

The jury will choose three designers as +46 Select winner who will receive a free fashion show, which includes production, & promotion. Last years winners were Alice Schulman, Diana Orving, Lisa Ask and Marie Hammarberg.
