This is the idea that we are just doing the same thing time and time again no one is ever wanting to dream up something new. i guess fashion is like a river, its all ways repeating.

are you asking about originality in fashion? there is a lot of originality in the industry. what ppl actually wear, however, changes very little from year to year

I always say that FASHION is "The finger print of each era"...having said that fashion to me is a sort of escapism from 'reality'...if you really think hard, would we care about fashion if Humanity was for ever so content ?..I suppose that when we have ‘plenty’ in our lives ( whatever plenty may mean to different people) then originality somehow tends to fall back in its past laurels....
I believe that there is so much originality now days ...more than ever because our world is somehow rather dark by what is going on right now..........the problem is that everything has gotten to a point, including music....where originality is being kept out in order for the "big boys' to live their dreams......dreams of a glittery sky full of tiny dots resembling stars for them to enjoy while leaning back to count how many of those tiny dots fill their 'Milkyway’.. their "Milky-Way".............What we need is a revolution.......to free creativity again from the claws of money making machines.......and let it flourish as it used to be .......that is the way forward.....
