Seen the new Fantastic Man, though, with Stefano Pilati wearing Peter Phillips/Inez VL lace across his beard on the front cover? Utterly glorious. That magazine just keeps on getting better...
I know that this is getting a bot cleachay, but this magazine is realy looking good.
on a personel level. its better for me when models are shot more naturalisticly out doors.
Comoasitionaly, the shots look a lot better going in close and consentrating on low key lighting, as seen in the magazine, I also like the colour pictures , there is a great play on the lighting techniques, in the style of the latest Madonna adverts.
On a personel level I think you have got thisd issue right it looks cool guys and I will get a copy as soon as I can.

I saw the series of photos of the guy with the 1960s mostache and thought Oh no, I hope its not coming back,I would rather see healthy looking clean shaven guys, painted, like in a series from the Face mag, or spicked , long hair, anything but facial hair, but what ever tickles your fancy though I guess.
Lets get those sexy beach shots in the can for the summer issues, I will be covering the run to the sun in Newquay.

guys grow hair on their face...sometimes even bodies!
that's natural...not the "dipped in wax", pre-pubecent look that has been dominant for oh so long now.
it's bound to come back around again
I know what you are saying, it just reminds me of a scene from Village People, what do the girls think.?

yes...the village people were some hairy dudes....which brings up
the point of gay culture leading the way in male asthetics.
gay culture was all about the hairy chests and mustachios in the 70's and that was the norm of the time. later when gay culture went the other way with the hairless look...everyone followed. woman too seem to go with what predominats in gay culture.
chicks digged hairy dudes in the 70's and now most go the other way.
probably just whatever people see more of (magazines etc.) is what becomes normal...with the oposite becoming strange....until it turns again that is.
cs was it not also away of showing what sort of sex a guy was in to during that period of the 60s 70s.
I agree a guy can look very good if groomed with a beard and mostache properly, but look very un kept and rough if not.
On a personell level I like guys who look sensitive but not camp.
I like also the look of very feminin and sesative woman rather than macho, So I like the mystsery of andromy,( is it spelt right) Rankin did a series on this a couple of years ago for one of the magazines.
What is your work like and have you had work published CS. All the best
