Very pretty, too pretty.
Bringing the December cover of British Vogue to sparkling, effervescent life is the first of two movies created from footage recorded during Nick Knight's recent photo shoots for said title. A flurry of a fashion fantasia edited by Ruth Hogben, today's opener features Kate Moss as a prima ballerina coiffed by Sam McKnight, preened by Val Garland and smothered liberally in milles feuille Limoncello layers of the softest, dreamiest silk-tulle courtesy of Christian Dior Haute Couture.

oh and btw I thought it was great little film to accompany the Vogue cover.Light hearted and delicate. Yes just like a filmed fragment of a Marilyn sitting . Really sweet.

Has Kate Moss becomes too convenient of a choice for magazines-Interview magazine used her as the first cover model after the revamping of the layout, it's just a no brainer, yet, I thought it's a lazy choice-because using her gaurantees sales, even with a terrible layout, so many people would buy the magazine because she is on the cover, not because they think it's cool layout or if the magazine is interesting.

I don't think that she is chosen .... because she is just a pretty face !. Can you mention one model that has managed today to catch the public's imagination ? ....... the following sentence proves indeed that her ' magic ' appeal is undeniable , whether we like it, agree or not ...: " using her gaurantees sales, even with a terrible layout, so many people would buy the magazine because she is on the cover, not because they think it's cool layout or if the magazine is interesting. " and SALES is what it is all about , the essence of the magazine ....... but then let's be fair and not blame her or the magazine for that matter .... but the PUBLIC self who very eagerly wants a 'piece' of the fantasy ...... but then again it is all about ... giving the public the freedom to buy what they want ....
How many models wouldn't dream of having such staying-power-appeal .... and to be able to evoke visual poetry ... ?

I love this picture of Kate.
The film has a real vintage feel, such beautiful colouring.

i like the jumps of the film.
it looks pretty but it's not a traditional smooth running sequence- it's a like it's on loop...
Marilyn in montage...
really nice.

Is everyone here referring to the 21 second clip of Kate Moss posing for the camera??
This is hardly impressive stuff...
And, yes, I agree that she is an easy choice. I bought this months Vogue despite Moss being on the cover.
As far as staying power goes- I'd rather see someone who's made a real achievement in life at that stage.
The Kate Moss phenomenon is being fed to us through the media convincing people that she is a major icon of our time. In reality, she is just a great model with a cool sense of style and lots of designer clothes at her disposal- c'est tout.
