I know this will sound tatty to many of you, but due to having a bit of a problem with the expression of oneself creatively, and with really mixing up the meanings of 'I love that dress', to 'I love that picture', to 'I love MY pictures', I wanted to know if you know how important is to love yourself in order to create? I assume that love is connected with creation, but how would you define love basically? For anyone who wants to take the piss out of me, do it because I know I have it coming, but anyone, Anyone who is willing to answer, I would really appreciate it.

Interesting one this, I think that Love is very strongly linked to pashion, a very strong emotional feeling that can turn your world up side down, and is also very closely linked to the emotional feeling of hate, love pashion can turn to hate pashion.
And you should not come in to a creative forum thinking that people will mock you for your statements, global( It shows there imaturity) As creatives we all go through these emotions thats what makes us what we are.

So what you are saying is that you can only claim to love yourself and your work if you are passionate about it? The only way to love is extremity in a sense? Hmmm
By the way, didn't mean to insult anyone or assume you're immature - i wouldn't be posting this question here if i thought you were

i do not think you need to love yourself, or even others in order to create. In fact maybe the opposite is true.self destruction and depression have strong links with creation, it can sometimes also create more interesting work.
